| The Story Born in Houston, Texas I am the youngest of 6 in my family. Being the son of a entrepreneur/commercial artist I've been around business and graphic production environments all of my life. These days you can say I am following in my father’s footsteps. Back in 1986 I got my first taste of real graphic production after my Father stopped working with the obsolete Compu-graphic devices he used for years then replaced them with a Macintosh, Laserwriter Plus and told me "you will be doing my typesetting with these devices". Yes, it was a Mac Plus with a whopping 2Mb of ram, a 20Mb External HD and a LaserWriter Plus, pretty nice back in the day. While attending Harlingen High School and taking typing class, I had virtually no computer experience. I learned how to layout on PageMaker 1.0 and created images in Aldus Freehand. So you could say I cut my teeth on that computer at my dad’s print shop (Hieroglyphics) in South Texas. That was the start of a new challenge for me, one that I do appreciate till this day.
